We're getting ready to leave for Florida on Tuesday, so I'm preparing another bag full of bunnies tomorrow to bring along. I'll also have a fair amount of course work to do, so I most likely won't be posting anything else while we're gone. I'll be back next week though, maybe even with some photos of hidden bunnies!
And since Fall is just around the corner, I'm working on a little pumpkin pie amigurumi-complete with pumpkin pie scent!

In the meantime though, I'll be anxiously awaiting the penultimate episode of Broadchurch, my newest addiction. And that's not just because David Tennant stars in it.
...Although it was a big factor in getting me to watch it.
But seriously, I love this show! The storyline pulls you in from the first moment, and it has just the right combination of breakneck storytelling and emotional tension to keep you hooked. The town's grief over losing one of their own and the constant reminder that the killer is a member of their community for me is one of the strongest emotional tugs that I've felt from a tv show in a long time. The fact that they were able to hide the killer's identity for this long from the audience goes to show the awesome storytelling at work here. Everytime I watch it I can't wait for the next Wednesday.
At least I'll have something to look forward to when I come back from warm, sunny Florida.

One Summer Later...
Oh wow, summer went by fast-so much for a summer writing project. I am so sorry guys; between weekend trips to Florida, working at WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) and the usual summer appointments, this blog just kind of...fell through a really big crack.
But, I'm going to try and update at least once a week from now on (it'll most likely be on weekends, the way my Fall is looking at the moment) between classes and even more trips to Kissimmee.
So, Anime Boston was awesome. I saw so many amazing cosplays, and even though I didn't get to leave any bunnies for fear of bring trampled, I did get to see my friend's panel and give him one to take home. You can find a video of the panel here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdzT51AxkxA. The panel was so much fun! I'm really hoping that I can go back next year with my friends, or bring them down to Metrocon next June.
I also did get to leave a few bunnies around the hotel we stayed at a couple of weeks ago in Kissimmee, when we went to close on the new house. I don't know if any kids found them, but some of them were gone by the time we left.
In other news, I decided not too long ago that I also want to use this blog to spread awareness about animal abuse and how people can help, and also about bullying. Both of these issues are very important to me, and I realized that I want to do something about them, even if it's only spreading awareness, providing links to organizations, etc. Right now I'm focusing on donating to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, a local animal shelter where we adopted Moose and Squirrel. Their current wish list includes blankets, towels and stuffed animals, so I'll be putting together a few donations in the next few weeks. If you are in the Worcester area and would like to contribute, you can go to their website and see what they need.
